CompareValves.com is a website which matches you valve project requirements with suitable valve Suppliers.

How can I find valve Suppliers for my projects?

You can post a project and start receiving competitive proposals from the suppliers registered on our website. Alternatively with an upgrade, CompareValves.com will contact suppliers for you.

How do I know if a valve supplier is right for my project?

You can view Supplier profiles who have replied to your projects. Alternatively with the “Let us work for you” upgrade option, our team will contact you and try our very best to find Suppliers who can meet your project requirements.

How do I add a new project?

You can add a new project at any time from the homepage, or from your dashboard when you have registered. Simply fill out the web form, and the CompareValves.com team will validate it. Your project will then be forwarded/published to the appropriate Suppliers.

How do I manage my projects?

Your Project Dashboard allows you to manage every aspect of your project: you can view the projects you have posted, access our messaging tool to communicate with Supplier(s) and if you choose you can place an order direct with the Supplier which best fits your project requirements. Finally when your project is complete you will be able to rate the Suppliers and help other users in the future.

Can I ask the Supplier questions during the process?

Once you create a project and Suppliers respond to your project, you can start contacting them using our messaging tool.

Can I ask the Supplier questions when a project is closed?

No. If a project is closed you will not be able to message Suppliers via our messaging tool. Please contact our team and we will help if your question is in relation to the closed project. We understand that sometimes there is still a requirement to buy valves much later after receiving proposals.

How much does it cost to use CompareValves.com?

It is free! However we also offer upgrade options for Project Owners to assist you along the way. These options can be found at the bottom of the Create Valve Project web page.

Do I need to place an order with a Supplier to use the site?

No, we realise in the early stages of projects only prices and delivery durations maybe required.

How can I place an order with the Suppliers?

Project Owners and Suppliers should deal directly when placing an order. CompareValves.com has no responsibility in the placing of orders between Project Owners and Suppliers.

What happens if things go wrong with a Supplier?

Since orders and contracts are placed direct between Project Owners and Suppliers CompareValves.com can have no responsibility or involvement in disputes.

What should I include in my project request?

Your project request should be as detailed as possible so Suppliers can provide accurate proposals and eliminate the requirement to revise proposals.

I'm worried about confidentiality. What are my options?

When Suppliers make proposals, they digitally accept a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). This is aimed to protect your intellectual property. Moreover, once you start using our messaging tool to get in touch with Suppliers, all communications are secure within our web interface. You can communicate with Suppliers individually or all at once.

What are my rights as a Project Owner on CompareValves.com?

Posting your valve project on CompareValves.com is a great way to ensure your project advances smoothly. All Project Owner's intellectual property will be safeguarded by a digital NDA within the CompareValves.com web interface system. CompareValves.com can also provide technical assistance prior to the start of the enquiry process if needed.

CompareValves.com is a hub for valve Suppliers where they can meet Project Owners and/or buyers looking for prices and delivery durations for their valve projects. Being part of CompareValves.com also means joining a growing worldwide valve supplier directory.

I’m a valve supplier. Why create a profile?

CompareValves.com is a marketing and sales enhancement tool. Creating a supplier profile and joining our directory, you get to showcase your services and extend your supply chain. Moreover, you will have access to project enquiries worldwide, with only enquiries directed to you if they meet your specified supply requirements. You will have the chance to communicate to potential clients directly with our messaging system.

How can I make my profile stand out from the rest?

On your dashboard you will find your profile. Completed profiles are the ones that potential clients are more attracted to, so make sure you keep yours up-to-date and personalised with your description, your URL, your logo. Ensure you do your best to respond to enquiries and messages in a timely manner, CompareValves.com client recommendations and ratings of previous projects are displayed.

Can I ask the client questions before making an offer?

Yes. If you need to clarify any details prior to submitting your proposal for an active project then you will be able to message the client directly through our messaging system.

What information should I include in the proposals I submit to clients?

You should treat the enquiry as a formal tender and submit sufficient technical and commercial details so your proposal can be fully evaluated including any clarification points. Details may include but not limited to valve sizing information, datasheets, price and delivery duration etc.

You should take opportunity to present your company and share your understanding of the project requirements.

Can I ask the client questions when a project is closed?

No. If a project is closed you will not be able to message the client via our messaging system.

How much does it cost to use CompareValves.com?

Joining CompareValves.com is free. However, there is an optional feature to advertise on the home page of our website, the rolling banner advertisement of sponsored Suppliers on our homepage is available to Suppliers in the valve and actuator industry. Banners are great branding tools for your company or products to reach out to your target audience and for increased lead generation.

We receive a commission from the Supplier when a successful proposal becomes a confirmed order to purchase valve(s) or services from them. Refer to Terms & Conditions for more details.

How do I get paid for the projects I have success?

Project Owners and Suppliers should deal directly with valve orders and contracts which should also include agreed commercial terms, this is out with CompareValves.com responsibility.

What happens if things go wrong with a client?

Since orders and contracts are placed direct between Project Owners and Suppliers CompareValves.com can have no responsibility or involvement in disputes.

What are my rights as a Supplier working on projects through CompareValves.com?

Suppliers will have access to project enquiries worldwide, with only enquiries directed to you if they meet your specified supply requirements. You will have the chance to communicate to potential clients directly. You will receive enquiries which you possibly would never have otherwise known about. You will have the opportunity to submit proposals extending your supply chain and increasing sales.
